BIOGRAPHY

Marco Yung (he/him) is an aspiring poet born and raised in Hong Kong, whose work explores the intersections of relationships, memories, and imagination through experimental forms and styles.

His poems and literary works have appeared in numerous literary journals, including “Genesis: Near and Far”, and "CU Writing in English Volume XXIII / 2024" , and have been recognized with awards such as 5th Annual ELTU Creative Writing Competition 2024-2025.

Currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from HKU, Marco has shared his craft of poetry at local secondary schools and has been a student helper assisting IPNHK 2024 at CUHK.
